Synopsis
Puppetmation of the classic Heike monogatari adaptation of Shin Heike Monogatari by Yoshikawa Eiji, produced by NHK with puppets by Kawamoto Kihachirou.
Note: Internally divided into five parts – Erudition (青雲, episodes 1-12), Glory (栄華, episodes 13-24), Rebellion (乱, episodes 25-36), Continuous Change (流転, episodes 37-48 and S1) and Uncertainty (無常, episodes 49-56).
