Synopsis
Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is a 2019 fantasy comedy anime, and this first season has 23 episodes. It was made by Bandai Namco Pictures and is based on the manga by Osamu Nishi. It is set in the Netherworld, a land of demons, but it has a bright and cheerful mood.
Iruma Suzuki is a kind 14-year-old boy with terrible parents. They make him work all the time, and one day they sell his soul to a demon. The demon is Sullivan, a powerful and very important figure in the Netherworld. But Sullivan does not want to eat Iruma. He just wants a grandson. He adopts Iruma and spoils him with love.
Sullivan is also the head of Babyls, a school for young demons. He enrolls Iruma there right away. The problem is that humans are very rare in the Netherworld, and many demons would love to eat one. Iruma must hide the fact that he is human.
Iruma has another weakness. He cannot say no to anyone. On his first day, he gets pulled into trouble and even ends up fighting a proud student named Asmodeus Alice. Soon, Alice becomes his loyal friend. He also meets Clara Valac, a wild and playful girl who wants to be his friend too.
Iruma's kind heart and strange luck help him stand out at school. The show follows him as he makes friends and slowly finds his place among the demons.
