Synopsis
MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES is a 2023 fantasy action comedy anime, and this first season has 12 episodes. It was made by A-1 Pictures and is based on the manga by Hajime Komoto. It is set in a land where magic decides almost everything about a person's life.
In this world, everyone is born with magic. The stronger your magic is, the higher your place in society. People with no magic at all are seen as defects, and the government removes them.
Mash Burnedead is a calm teenage boy who lives deep in the forest with his adoptive father, Regro. Mash was born without any magic. To make up for it, he has trained his body every day for years. Now he is incredibly strong. He can do things with his muscles that other people can only do with spells. He also loves cream puffs more than anything.
One day, the authorities find out about Mash, and his quiet life is in danger. To protect himself and his father, Mash needs a way to be accepted. He learns that if he becomes a Divine Visionary, the highest honor for a student, nobody will be able to touch his family.
So Mash enrolls at Easton Magic Academy, a top school for magic users. He must hide the fact that he has no magic and pretend that his muscle power is magic. The season follows Mash as he makes friends, faces rivals and punches his way through every magic test the school gives him.
