Wistoria: Wand and Sword

Wistoria: Wand and Sword is a 2024 fantasy action anime with 12 episodes. It was made by Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures. It is based on the manga written by Fujino Omori and drawn by Toshi Aoi. It is set in a world ruled by magic, where people who cannot use it are looked down on.

Will Serfort is a young student at Regarden Magic Academy, a school for mages. The problem is that Will cannot use any magic at all. Not even the simplest spell works for him. Many of the other students laugh at him and call him a failure.

Will has a reason to stay at the school. As a child, he made a promise to his childhood friend, Elfaria Albis Serfort. They promised to meet again at the top of the Wall, a huge tower where only the strongest mages can go. Elfaria is now one of the most powerful mages in the world. Will wants to keep his promise, no matter how hard it is.

Since he has no magic, Will fights with a sword instead. He trains his body every day and goes into the school's dangerous dungeon to fight monsters and earn points. His skill with the sword is much greater than anyone expects.

Slowly, some classmates begin to see his strength, while others want him gone. The show follows Will as he tries to rise to the top in a world that says he does not belong.
