Synopsis
High School DxD BorN is the third season of the action comedy anime High School DxD. It aired in 2015 with 12 episodes and was made by the studio TNK. It is based on the light novel series by Ichiei Ishibumi. The show has a lot of nudity and adult jokes, so it is only for adult viewers.
The series is set at Kuoh Academy in Japan, where many students are secretly devils, angels or fallen angels. Issei Hyodo is a perverted high school boy who became a devil. He serves Rias Gremory, the devil who leads the Occult Research Club. Issei has a powerful dragon arm called the Boosted Gear, and he dreams of having a harem one day.
At the start of this season, it is summer vacation. Rias takes Issei and the rest of the club with her to her family's home in the Underworld, the world of the devils. There, she must attend a gathering of young devils from high-class families. These young devils will soon fight each other in Rating Games, which are official battles between teams.
To prepare, each member of the club goes through hard training. Issei trains in the wild with a huge dragon. At the same time, the quiet club member Koneko is struggling with her own powers and her past.
The season mixes fights, fan service and harem comedy, as the club faces stronger rivals and new enemies.
