After his death, he meets a goddess. She makes him an offer. She will let him be born again in another world with all his memories and skills. In return, he must kill that world's Hero, a person who is destined to one day destroy the world.

He agrees and is reborn as Lugh Tuatha De, the son of a noble family. His new family looks like normal aristocrats, but they are secretly assassins who work for the kingdom. Lugh trains hard with his father and learns magic from a young tutor named Dia, a bright girl from a neighboring noble family. He also meets Tarte, a girl he saves and trains as his assistant.

This time, Lugh wants to live as a person, not just as a tool. The series follows Lugh as he grows up, builds his skills and prepares for his mission.
