JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders is the 2014 second season of the JoJo anime. This part has 24 episodes and was made by David Production, based on the third part of the manga by Hirohiko Araki. The story is set in 1989 and moves from Japan across Asia toward Egypt.

Jotaro Kujo is a tall and tough high school student in Japan. He has locked himself in a jail cell. He believes an evil spirit has taken hold of him, and he does not want it to hurt anyone.

His mother, Holly, calls her father for help. He is Joseph Joestar, now an old man, and he arrives with his friend Mohammed Avdol. They explain that the spirit is not evil. It is a Stand, a strong spirit that comes from a person's own life energy and fights for them. Jotaro's Stand is very powerful.

Joseph has more news. An old enemy of the Joestar family, a vampire named DIO, has woken up after a hundred years under the sea. DIO's return has awakened Stands in the Joestar family. Soon, Holly falls very ill because her body cannot control the Stand that appears in her. The only way to save her is to defeat DIO within 50 days.

Jotaro, Joseph and Avdol set out for Egypt, where DIO is hiding. On the way, they meet other Stand users, like Noriaki Kakyoin. The season follows the group as they travel across many countries and face DIO's Stand users one by one.
