Synopsis
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (TV) is a 2012 action adventure anime, and this first season has 26 episodes. It was made by David Production and is based on the manga by Hirohiko Araki. It covers the first two parts of the story, called Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency.

The story begins in England in the 1880s. Jonathan Joestar is the son of a rich nobleman, George Joestar. He is kind and honest, and he wants to grow up to be a true gentleman. Everyone calls him JoJo.

Years ago, a man named Dario Brando helped George after a carriage accident. When Dario dies, George keeps his promise and adopts his son, Dio Brando. Dio is clever and charming on the outside, but he is cruel and full of ambition. He wants to take the Joestar family fortune for himself. He starts to make Jonathan's life miserable, turning his friends against him and hurting the things he loves.

The two boys grow up as rivals. Their long fight is also linked to a strange old stone mask that the Joestar family keeps in their home. The mask comes from an ancient culture, and it holds a dark secret.

Later in the season, the story moves forward to the year 1938 and follows Joseph Joestar, Jonathan's grandson. The show has a bold art style, with dramatic poses and big battles. It follows the Joestar family as they face powerful enemies across time.
