Synopsis
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders - Battle in Egypt is the 2015 second half of Stardust Crusaders. It has 24 episodes and was made by David Production, based on the third part of the manga by Hirohiko Araki. It follows straight on from the first half of Stardust Crusaders.
Jotaro Kujo and his group have spent a long time traveling from Japan toward Egypt. Their goal is to find and defeat DIO, a vampire and an old enemy of the Joestar family. DIO's return has caused Jotaro's mother, Holly, to fall very ill. If they do not defeat DIO soon, she will die.
Everyone in the group has a Stand, a spirit that fights for its user. The group includes Jotaro, his grandfather Joseph Joestar, Noriaki Kakyoin and the French swordsman Jean Pierre Polnareff.
At last, the group arrives in Egypt. Here, they get help from a new and very unlikely ally. Iggy is a small dog who loves coffee flavored gum, hates people and has a Stand of his own. He is not happy to join them, but he comes along.
DIO knows they are coming. He sends a new group of Stand users after them, each named after an ancient Egyptian god. These enemies are even stronger and stranger than the ones before. The season follows Jotaro and his friends as they search for DIO's hiding place in Cairo while fighting off his servants.
