Synopsis
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable is the 2016 third season of the JoJo anime. It has 39 episodes and was made by David Production, based on the fourth part of the manga by Hirohiko Araki. The story is set in 1999 in Morioh, a quiet fictional town in Japan.
Josuke Higashikata is a friendly high school student who lives with his mother and grandfather. He has a big pompadour hairstyle, and he gets very angry if anyone insults it. Josuke also has a Stand, a spirit that fights for its user. His Stand is called Crazy Diamond, and it can fix anything it breaks, including people's wounds.
One day, Jotaro Kujo comes to Morioh to find him. Jotaro is now an adult and a marine scientist. He brings surprising news. Josuke is the son of Joseph Joestar, Jotaro's grandfather, which makes Josuke a member of the Joestar family.
Jotaro has also come for another reason. He believes that there are dangerous Stand users in Morioh. Soon, Josuke meets one of them, a criminal who has been causing trouble in town. Josuke also learns about a strange bow and arrow that can give people new Stand powers.
Josuke's classmate Koichi Hirose and his new friend Okuyasu Nijimura are pulled into these events too. The season follows Josuke and his friends as they find more Stand users in town, some of them friendly and some of them very dangerous, and try to protect their home.
