Synopsis
SPY x FAMILY Season 2 is the 2023 second season of the action comedy anime. It has 12 episodes and was made by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo. It picks up after the end of the first season.
The story is set in a world that looks like Europe during the Cold War. Two countries, Westalis and Ostania, are in a tense peace. Twilight is the best spy in Westalis. For an important mission, he must build a fake family and live in Ostania under the name Loid Forger.
Loid adopts Anya, a young girl who secretly can read minds. He marries Yor, a kind but awkward woman who is secretly a skilled assassin called the Thorn Princess. None of them knows the others' secrets, except Anya, who can hear what everyone thinks. The family also has a big dog named Bond, who can see into the future.
Loid's mission is to get close to a dangerous politician through his son, Damian, who goes to the same school as Anya. For that, Anya needs to do well at school, and the family needs to look perfect.
In the new season, the Forgers deal with more school events, spy work and silly family problems. Later, Yor takes a job on a luxury cruise ship, where she must protect a mother and her baby from other killers. The season follows the Forger family as they keep their secrets and slowly become a real family.
