Synopsis
The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. Season 2 is the second season of the comedy anime The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. It aired in 2018 with 24 episodes and was made by J.C.Staff and Egg Firm. It is based on the manga by Shuichi Aso. Each episode is split into several short stories, and many of them are only a few minutes long.
Kusuo Saiki is a high school student with almost every psychic power you can think of. He can read minds, move things with his mind, see through walls and teleport. He wears two pink antennae on his head that keep his powers under control.
For Saiki, having so much power is a burden. He can hear everyone's thoughts all the time, and nothing surprises him anymore. His only wish is to live a quiet and normal life. He tries hard to stay unnoticed and keep his powers secret.
But his classmates keep pulling him into trouble. Riki Nendo is loud and very simple. Shun Kaido believes he is a hero with dark powers. Kokomi Teruhashi is the most beautiful girl in school, and she is sure that Saiki must like her. Other odd friends, rivals and family members keep showing up too.
This season continues in the same style as the first, with more school events and silly problems. Saiki often uses his powers in secret to stop things from getting out of hand. The humor is fast and full of jokes about anime and manga.
