Synopsis
Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 is the 2022 continuation of the fourth season of the dark fantasy action anime. It has 12 episodes and was made by the studio MAPPA, based on the manga by Hajime Isayama. It picks up right where the first part of the Final Season ended.
For years, the people of Paradis Island lived inside their walls with no idea of the outside world. Now they know the truth. The nation of Marley, across the sea, sees them as a threat and wants to wipe them out. Eren Yeager has made choices that shocked his friends and pushed both sides closer to all-out war.
This part opens with a huge battle in the town of Shiganshina. Marley's army attacks the island, and the soldiers of Paradis must fight back. Mikasa, Armin and the Survey Corps are torn between their duty and their doubts about Eren.
At the same time, Gabi and Falco, two young Warrior candidates from Marley, are on the island. They start to see that the people of Paradis are not the monsters they were taught to fear.
Many characters must choose which side they are on, and old friends find themselves on opposite ends of the fight. The season follows both sides as they deal with the results of Eren's plan and the war that grows from it.
