Synopsis
Attack on Titan Final Season is the 2020 fourth season of the dark fantasy action anime. This first part has 16 episodes and was made by the studio MAPPA, based on the manga by Hajime Isayama. The story jumps forward four years after the end of the third season.
For the first time, the story does not start inside the walls. It moves across the sea to the nation of Marley. Marley is at war with another large country. It uses Titans as weapons in its battles.
In Marley, people of Eldian blood are forced to live in a guarded area called Liberio. They must wear armbands to show who they are. Some Eldian children train to become Warriors, soldiers who may one day get the power of a Titan. For their families, this is a way to earn trust and a better life.
Gabi Braun is a proud and brave girl who wants to become a Warrior more than anything. Falco Grice is a kind boy in the same unit. He wants to inherit a Titan too, but he has his own quiet reasons. In the first episodes, the young soldiers fight in a hard battle at a fortress by the sea.
After the war, the leaders of Marley turn their attention to Paradis Island. The season follows both sides of the conflict as a new war draws near.
