Synopsis
Golden Time is a 2013 romantic comedy drama anime with 24 episodes. It was made by the studio J.C.Staff and is based on the light novels by Yuyuko Takemiya. It is set at a law school in Tokyo and follows a group of first year college students.
Banri Tada is starting his new life as a college student in Tokyo. He has a secret. Just after he finished high school, he fell from a bridge and hurt his head. When he woke up, he had lost all his memories of the past. Now he wants a fresh start in a city where nobody knows him.
On his first day, Banri gets lost and meets Mitsuo Yanagisawa, another new student. The two quickly become friends. Then a beautiful girl in a fancy dress suddenly appears and hits Mitsuo with a bouquet of roses. She is Koko Kaga, Mitsuo's childhood friend. Koko has decided that she will marry Mitsuo one day, and she followed him to the same school. Mitsuo does not feel the same way, and he tries hard to escape her.
Banri is drawn to Koko, even though she is dramatic and hard to handle. Over time, the two start to grow closer.
Banri also joins a club and meets other students, including an older student named Linda, who seems to know more about him than she says. The series follows Banri and Koko through love, friendship and college life, while Banri's lost past slowly starts to come back.
