Synopsis
Komi Can't Communicate Part 2 is the second season of the school comedy anime Komi Can't Communicate. It aired in 2022 with 12 episodes and was made by OLM. It is based on the manga by Tomohito Oda. It is set at Itan Private High School, a school in Japan full of unusual students.
Shoko Komi is a beautiful girl whom everyone at school admires. But she has a communication disorder, and she finds it very hard to speak to people. Her classmate Hitohito Tadano is an ordinary boy who noticed her problem and became her first friend. Komi's goal is to make 100 friends, and Tadano is helping her.
This season continues the second half of their first year. Komi and her friends go through events such as the school trip, Christmas, New Year and Valentine's Day. Each one is a new challenge for Komi, and a new chance to connect with people.
More strange classmates appear too. Makoto Katai is a boy who looks scary, but he has the same trouble talking to others that Komi has. Ren Yamai is a girl who loves Komi a little too much. Najimi Osana, who claims to be friends with everyone, is always around to stir things up.
At the same time, Komi starts to notice new feelings toward Tadano that she does not fully understand. The show is a gentle comedy about shyness, friendship and small steps forward.
