KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!

KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world! is a 2016 fantasy comedy anime, and this first season has 10 episodes. It was made by Studio Deen and is based on the light novels by Natsume Akatsuki. Most of the story takes place in a fantasy world that works a lot like a role playing game.

Kazuma Satou is a teenage boy who spends most of his time at home playing video games. On one of the rare days he goes outside, he dies. The way he dies is very embarrassing.

After death, he meets Aqua, a goddess who laughs at him. She offers him a new life in a fantasy world, where he must help defeat the Demon King. He can take one item or power with him. Kazuma is annoyed, so he chooses to take Aqua herself. She is forced to go with him.

The new world is not as easy as Kazuma hoped. He has no special skills, and Aqua is much less useful than a goddess should be. They are poor, so they must do hard jobs just to pay for food and a place to sleep.

To hunt monsters, they need a party. They soon meet Megumin, a young mage who can only cast one huge explosion spell each day. Then comes Darkness, a knight who is great at defense but cannot hit anything.

The show follows this group as they take on quests and make one mess after another.
