KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world! 3

KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world! 3 is the third season of the fantasy comedy anime KonoSuba. It aired in 2024 with 11 episodes and was made by the studio Drive. It is based on the light novel series by Natsume Akatsuki. It is set in a fantasy world with magic, monsters and a Demon King, and it makes fun of classic role-playing games.

Kazuma Sato is a lazy young man from Japan who died and was sent to this world. He lives in the town of Axel with his three strange party members. Aqua is a goddess who cries a lot and causes trouble. Megumin is a young mage who only uses explosion magic, once a day. Darkness is a noble knight who loves to get hurt.

At the start of this season, Kazuma's feelings toward his party members are getting more complicated. Then he gets a visit from Princess Iris, the young princess of the kingdom of Belzerg. She has heard many stories about his adventures and wants to hear them from him in person.

Iris quickly takes a liking to Kazuma, and she brings him back with her to the royal capital. Living in the castle, Kazuma enjoys being treated like a big brother by a princess. His friends, however, want him to come home.

Soon, a mysterious masked thief begins to target nobles in the capital. The season is full of jokes, silly plans and a little bit of romance.
