Synopsis
Mob Psycho 100 III is the 2022 third and final season of the action comedy anime. It has 12 episodes and was made by the studio Bones, based on the web manga by ONE. It picks up after the end of the second season.
Shigeo Kageyama, known as Mob, is a middle school student with very strong psychic powers. He has always tried to keep his feelings in check, because his power can explode when his emotions reach 100 percent. He works part time for Arataka Reigen, a man who says he is a psychic but has no powers at all.
Mob is now in his last year of middle school. His teachers ask all the students to fill out a form about their future plans. Mob has no idea what he wants to do with his life, and the question worries him.
At the same time, a giant tree has grown in the middle of the city. A new religious group has formed around it, and it keeps getting bigger. Its members want Mob to become their leader, because of the famous psychic powers he showed before. Mob is not interested, but strange things begin to happen around the tree.
Mob also deals with a school culture festival, a strange yokai hunter and the surprising attention of some girls. The season follows Mob as he tries to decide who he wants to be, while a new danger grows over the city.
