Synopsis
The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of A Holy War is a short fantasy action series with 4 episodes. It aired in 2016 and was made by A-1 Pictures. It is based on the manga by Nakaba Suzuki. It is a bridge between the first season and Revival of The Commandments.

The Seven Deadly Sins are a group of powerful knights in the Kingdom of Liones. Their leader is Meliodas, a cheerful young man who looks like a boy and runs a traveling bar called the Boar Hat. In the first season, the Sins and Princess Elizabeth freed the kingdom from the evil Holy Knights.

Now the kingdom is at peace, and the Sins are resting after a big festival. But not everything is calm. Ban, the immortal Sin of Greed, still has an unsettled problem with Meliodas. In the last battle, Ban tried to kill his captain, and Meliodas wants to understand why.

Soon, the two agree to settle things in a friendly duel on a mountaintop. Their friends gather to watch, and the wizard Merlin puts up a magic barrier to keep everyone safe. Later, the group faces a new threat from old vampires who were once sealed away.

The series mixes fights, comedy and quiet moments between the Sins. It also shows more of the bonds between the members of the group.
