Synopsis
The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments is the 2018 second season of the fantasy action anime. It has 24 episodes and was made by A-1 Pictures, based on the manga by Nakaba Suzuki. It picks up after the events of the first season.
The Seven Deadly Sins are a group of powerful knights in the Kingdom of Liones. In the first season, their captain Meliodas and Princess Elizabeth brought most of the group back together. With their help, the kingdom was saved from the Holy Knights who had taken over.
Now there is peace in Liones for the first time in a long while. The Sins are heroes again, and everyone celebrates. But the peace does not last long.
Long ago, a race called the Demon Clan fought a great war against the other races of Britannia. The strongest demons, a group called the Ten Commandments, were sealed away for 3,000 years. Now, the seal has been broken. The Ten Commandments are free, and each one has a power linked to a rule that is almost impossible to break.
The Sins still have not found all of their members. Meliodas, Elizabeth, Ban, King, Diane and the others must get stronger and work together to face this new enemy. At the same time, Meliodas's own past starts to come to light. The season follows the Seven Deadly Sins as they try to stop the Ten Commandments from taking over Britannia.
