Fairy Tail Series 2 is the second series of the fantasy action anime Fairy Tail. It aired from 2014 to 2016 with 102 episodes and was made by A-1 Pictures and Bridge. It is based on the manga by Hiro Mashima. The story is set in the Kingdom of Fiore, a land where wizards join guilds and take paid jobs.
This series picks up right where the first one stopped. Fairy Tail is a loud and loyal guild of wizards. Natsu Dragneel is a fire wizard who was raised by a dragon. Lucy Heartfilia is a Celestial Spirit wizard who uses magic keys to call spirits. They team up with Gray Fullbuster, an ice wizard, and Erza Scarlet, a strong knight, as well as Wendy and the flying cats Happy and Carla.
At the start, Fairy Tail is in the last days of the Grand Magic Games. This is a big tournament to decide the top guild in Fiore. Years ago, Fairy Tail was the best, but it lost its place while some of its members were missing. Now it wants to prove itself again.
At the same time, strange things are happening in the capital city of Crocus. The royal family is working on a secret plan with a huge gate called Eclipse. Natsu and his friends start to sense that the tournament may hide something much bigger.
The series is full of magic battles, jokes and strong bonds between friends.
