Synopsis
Fairy Tail is a 2009 fantasy action anime. The first series has 175 episodes and was made by A-1 Pictures and Satelight. It is based on the manga by Hiro Mashima. It is set in the Kingdom of Fiore, a land where magic is a normal part of life.
In Fiore, wizards join groups called guilds. Guilds take jobs from people, such as fighting monsters, finding lost items or protecting towns, in exchange for money. One of the most famous guilds is Fairy Tail. Its members are strong and full of heart, but they are also known for being rowdy and breaking things.
Lucy Heartfilia is a young wizard who dreams of joining Fairy Tail. She uses Celestial Spirit magic. With special golden and silver keys, she can call spirits from another world to help her fight.
In a port town, Lucy meets Natsu Dragneel, a cheerful young man with pink hair, and his friend Happy, a blue cat who can talk and fly. Natsu is a Dragon Slayer. He was raised by a dragon named Igneel, who taught him to eat and control fire. One day, Igneel disappeared, and Natsu has been looking for him ever since.
Natsu turns out to be a member of Fairy Tail, and he brings Lucy to the guild. She soon forms a team with Natsu and Happy. Later, other members like Gray and Erza join them. The series follows the team as they take on jobs, protect their friends and face dark guilds across the kingdom.
