Synopsis
Fairy Tail Final Season is the last season of the fantasy action anime Fairy Tail. It aired from 2018 to 2019 with 51 episodes and was made by A-1 Pictures and CloverWorks. It is based on the manga by Hiro Mashima. The story is set in the Kingdom of Fiore, a land where wizards join guilds and take paid jobs.
Fairy Tail is a loud and loyal guild of wizards. Natsu Dragneel is a fire wizard who was raised by a dragon. Lucy Heartfilia is a Celestial Spirit wizard who calls spirits with magic keys. After a terrible battle in the last series, the guild was broken up, and its members went their separate ways.
At the start of this season, a year has passed. Natsu and his flying cat, Happy, return from training and find Lucy working as a reporter. The three decide to bring Fairy Tail back together. They set out to find their old friends. First, they visit Wendy at the Lamia Scale guild, just as a huge army of monsters attacks the town.
Next, they look for Gray, who has disappeared, and Juvia, who is heartbroken without him. Their search leads them to a strange cult that worships the dark wizard Zeref.
Soon, the guild faces its greatest enemy yet, a powerful empire from across the sea. The season is full of huge battles, emotional moments and the strong bonds between friends.
