Synopsis
Attack on Titan Season 3 is the 2018 third season of the dark fantasy action anime. This first part has 12 episodes and was made by Wit Studio, based on the manga by Hajime Isayama. It follows on from the events of the second season.
Eren Yeager and his friends are now part of a new squad led by Captain Levi. They hide in a cabin far from the cities. Eren is trying to learn more about his power to turn into a Titan. The squad also protects Historia Reiss, a young soldier who is somehow important to the people who rule the walls.
This season is different from the ones before it. The main danger does not come from Titans. It comes from other humans. The government and the Military Police start to hunt the squad, and they want both Eren and Historia. The squad cannot trust anyone in charge.
A group of skilled killers also joins the hunt. They use a new kind of gear made to fight people, not Titans. Their leader is Kenny, a violent man who is very dangerous with a gun.
Levi must keep his young soldiers alive while they are on the run in the city. At the same time, Commander Erwin works in secret to learn why the government is so afraid. The season follows a tense conflict inside the walls, as the Survey Corps tries to uncover the truth about who really rules them.
