Synopsis
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Part 2 is the 2021 second half of the fantasy anime's second season. It has 12 episodes and was made by the studio Eight Bit, based on the light novels by Fuse. It follows straight on from the first part of the second season.
Rimuru Tempest was once an office worker in Japan. He was reborn in a fantasy world as a slime and became very strong. He now leads the Jura Tempest Federation, a country of monsters that wants to live in peace with humans.
The first part of the season brought great danger to Tempest. After those events, Rimuru has changed and grown much more powerful. His nation has survived, but its enemies have not given up.
Rimuru learns that one of the Demon Lords, a clever and cruel man named Clayman, has been working behind the scenes against him. Clayman is also causing trouble for Rimuru's friends and for other monster lands. Rimuru decides he must deal with Clayman directly.
At the same time, the Demon Lords plan a special gathering called Walpurgis. It is a meeting where the most powerful rulers in the world decide important matters. Rimuru is invited to attend. Meanwhile, the monsters of Tempest and their allies prepare for a large battle against Clayman's army. The season follows Rimuru as he protects his people and takes his place among the strongest beings in the world.
