Amane is a cheerful older student who acts like a big sister. Michiru is a loud girl who acts tough but is not very smart. Sachi is a polite girl who does anything anyone asks her to do. Makina is a playful young girl who is childish for her age. Yumiko is the quiet and cold daughter of the school's director, and she carries a box cutter.
Yuji wants a quiet and normal school life. But he is far from normal himself. He has unusual skills and a mysterious past that he does not talk about. As he spends time with the girls, he learns about their secrets and tries to help them.
The show follows each girl's story in turn. It starts as a light school comedy, but it gradually becomes a much darker and more emotional drama.
