Synopsis
Fire Force Season 2 is the 2020 second season of the supernatural action anime. It has 24 episodes and was made by David Production, based on the manga by Atsushi Ohkubo. It picks up soon after the end of the first season.
In the Tokyo Empire, people can burst into flames without warning and turn into burning monsters called Infernals. The Special Fire Force fights them and tries to find out why this happens. Shinra Kusakabe is a young soldier in Company 8. He can shoot fire from his feet and wants to be a hero.
In the first season, Company 8 learned that a secret group called the White Clad is behind many of the fires. The White Clad follow a leader called the Evangelist. They are hunting for special people called Pillars, who have a rare kind of flame.
Life in Company 8 has gone back to normal for now. The team still fights Infernals, and they even have to pose for a company calendar. But Shinra cannot stop thinking about the White Clad and about his little brother, Sho, who is working with them.
Soon, strange things begin to happen. Shinra meets a Fire Force captain who talks about a mysterious link to another world. A high school girl named Inca, who can sense where fires will start, catches the attention of the White Clad. The season follows Shinra and Company 8 as they try to reach the new Pillars before the enemy does.
