Synopsis
My Hero Academia Season 2 is the 2017 second season of the superhero anime. It has 25 episodes and was made by the studio Bones, based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi. It follows on from the first season, after the students of Class 1-A survived their first real fight with villains.

Izuku Midoriya is a first year student at U.A. High School, the top school for young heroes. He has a strong power, but he still cannot control it well. When he uses too much of it, he breaks his own bones.

The season opens with the U.A. Sports Festival. It is a huge event shown on TV across all of Japan. Pro heroes watch it closely because they want to find new talent. For the students, a good result could mean a better future as a hero.

Every student wants to win. Ochaco Uraraka wants to help her poor family. Katsuki Bakugo wants to prove he is the best. Shoto Todoroki is a very strong boy who can use both ice and fire. He has a personal reason to beat Izuku, and he tells him so.

The festival starts with a hard obstacle race, and then the students must form teams for the next event. The season follows Izuku and his classmates as they compete, train with pro heroes and face new villains.
