Synopsis
Attack on Titan Season 2 is the 2017 second season of the dark fantasy action anime. It has 12 episodes and was made by Wit Studio, based on the manga by Hajime Isayama. It picks up soon after the fight in the city of Trost at the end of the first season.
Humanity lives behind three huge walls to stay safe from Titans. These are giant creatures in human form that eat people for no clear reason. For a short time, the people inside the walls have hope again. Then a new alarm goes up. A large group of Titans has been seen inside Wall Rose, and nobody knows how they got in.
The young soldiers of the 104th Training Corps are not ready for battle. They have no gear and no clear orders. They split up to ride through the villages near the wall and warn the people who live there. Sasha rides toward her home village, and Connie hurries to find his family. At the same time, the Survey Corps sends out teams to search for a hole in the wall.
Eren Yeager, Mikasa and Armin join the effort, but they are far from the danger at first. The soldiers also see a strange new Titan that looks like a beast and acts in ways no Titan has before. The season follows this crisis as the soldiers try to find the breach before Wall Rose falls.
